With a new look, information in four languages and the development of the Formalis Online electronic platform, there’s no doubt about it: the business counter has outdone itself with its new website.

Considering the continuous technological advancement in today’s world and the role of business counters, Formalis felt compelled to modernise its website, in particular by offering an electronic platform called Formalis online. This platform lets you complete legal formalities (registration, modification and dissolution) online.

What exactly does the new Formalis online platform offer?

Any natural person or legal entity can:

  • Apply to register in the Crossroad Bank for Enterprises (BCE/KBO): Are you becoming self-employed (again)? Apply and take the necessary steps to start your company via Formalis online.
  • Request a change in the BCE/KBO: Have your company’s details and/or situation changed? You can easily communicate these changes via the business counter.
  • Apply to dissolve your company in the BCE/KBO: Are you ceasing your activities? Whatever the reason, Formalis helps you to dissolve your company or business unit and ensures that everything is properly closed.

Immediate and as easy as 1, 2, 3!

For quick and easy access, the eID module (for completing formalities via your identity card) has been set up to automatically encode data and authorise electronic signatures.

Moreover, an online payment module has been implemented via the INGENICO platform to finalise all requests. Once the request has been paid for, the information will be passed on to your Formalis office.

Currently, only legal formalities can be performed via Formalis Online but the platform will soon offer many other services as well.

Formalis is also modernising its look, as evidenced by its revamped logo and the provision of information in four languages: French, Dutch, German and English.
