Embuild – the Belgian Construction Association
founded in 1946, as an employers’ organisation for the whole of Belgium, Embuild brings together more than 14,500 enterprises in the “self-employed, SME and large enterprises” sector. It defends entrepreneurs at the local, regional, national and European levels.

Group S
The first social secretariat in the country (in 1945!), the ASBL Social Service has famously changed since this pioneering era. Under the name of Group S (since 2012), the activity developed around seven divisions:
- Social-security fund for the self-employed
- Social secretariat
- Socio-legal assistance and legal defence
- Insurance and social optimisation
- Family allowances fund
- Grants
- International team.

Le Cap
Although it was founded in 1953, this social secretariat took its current form and name in 1991. Since then, this employers’ administrative centre has mainly supported construction enterprises. It does this while also covering some thirty other sectors!
Focused on the region of Verviers, Le Cap offers both advice and information (online services, model documents, etc.) in matters of human resources and employee management.
