Beautician:

Human body care, intended only to maintain or improve human aesthetic appearance, including hair removal or semi-permanent makeup.

You can prove professional knowledge with a diploma or practical experience. More specifically, this is 5 years as a secondary activity or part-time, or 3 years as a principal activity or full-time, in the last 15 years.

Pedicure:

Foot care, intended only to maintain or improve human aesthetic appearance or when care does not require intervention by or a prescription from a medical practitioner or a paramedical professional referred to in Royal Decree no. 78 on the practice of healthcare professions.

You can prove professional knowledge with a diploma or practical experience. More specifically, this is 2 years as a secondary activity or part-time, or 1 year as a principal activity or full-time, in the last 15 years.

Masseur/masseuse:

Massage of the human body, intended to maintain or improve the aesthetic appearance of the person, cosmetic massage and massage usually applied in a beauty salon in the normal sense of the term. Relaxation massages, which are not regulated, are an exception.

You can prove professional knowledge with a diploma or practical experience. More specifically, this is 2 years as a secondary activity or part-time, or 1 year as a principal activity or full-time, in the last 15 years.

Optician:

  • the sale, maintenance and repair of items designed to correct or compensate human eyesight;
  • the sale, maintenance and repair of artificial eyes.

You can prove professional knowledge with a diploma or practical experience. More specifically, this is 8 years as a secondary activity or part-time, or 5 years as a principal activity or full-time, in the last 15 years.

Dental technician:

The making or repair of dental prostheses or orthodontic correction devices and, in general, all devices designed to move, replace or treat teeth, parts of teeth or surrounding tissues.

Undertaker:

The execution of one or more of the following activities in relation to mortal remains:

  • displaying mortal remains and carrying out the funerary washing, dressing and grooming, and the preservation;
  • ensuring the transportation of mortal remains;
  • performing and taking care of the funeral ceremonies until the place of burial or cremation, in accordance with local, religious and philosophical customs, and the wishes of the deceased and the family.
